Zaki Jubery is an experienced research scientist at the AI Institute of Resilient Agriculture (AIIRA) and the Translation AI Center (TrAC) at Iowa University. He specializes in the application of AI in agriculture and has over a decade of experience in agricultural research. His areas of expertise include high-throughput phenotyping, crop modeling, image processing, and applied machine learning.

Zaki holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Washington State University and has completed postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Iowa State University. During his studies, he designed, simulated, and manufactured point-of-care sensors for biomedical and industrial machining applications. Zaki is passionate about developing and using new AI tools to improve agriculture and make it more efficient and sustainable.
