Sarah Betzold
Vice President of Retail, Taranis
Sarah Betzold is an accomplished professional who currently holds the position of Vice President of Retail at Taranis. With a wealth of experience in the agriculture industry, Sarah brings invaluable expertise to her role. Before joining Taranis, she dedicated 14 years of her career to Corteva, where she held various Marketing and Sales/Agronomy management positions. In her most recent role at Corteva, Sarah successfully led the launch of the Brevant brand into the retail market in the Northern US.
Sarah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy and Marketing Communications from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. She combines her academic knowledge with practical experience gained from farming alongside her husband in Southeast Minnesota. On their farm, they raise corn, soybeans, sweet corn, peas—and their two children. To promote agriculture within her community, Sarah and her husband also engage in a fun hobby of hosting a sunflower maze and pumpkin produce stand each fall.
One of Sarah’s core values is fostering strong relationships between employee teams, retailers, and farmers. She takes great pride in collaborating with these stakeholders to enhance engagement, positioning herself and her team as trusted advisors to farmers. Sarah’s primary goal is to help farmers improve their operations and bottom line, ensuring they achieve their full potential and make informed decisions to move their acre forward. Her dedication to the industry and her unwavering commitment to empowering farmers make Sarah an indispensable asset to Taranis and the agricultural community at large.
