Lanny Faleide

President & CEO, Satshot Technologies

Lanny Faleide is president of Satshot Technologies of Fargo, ND which provides remote sensing to the agriculture community. Satshot has been at the forefront in developing processes and geo spatial web based distribution and analytic software systems for 32 years to use space based information to better manage crop health, by allowing realtime cloud access for users to be notified and analyze fields within hours after the imagery was taken for instant agronomic and actionable data decisions.

Lanny has over 20 years of experience in ag production. He attended North Dakota State University with emphasis in Ag Economics and GIS. In 1994, Faleide founded and developed Agri ImaGIS, now Satshot Technologies. Faleide also received the North Dakota ITND Entrepreneur Award in 2002 and received recognition from NASA in 2000 and 2016.

Satshot provides imagery data and and advanced cloud-based GIS integration services to customers across the world and through its SATSHOT system, which allows users to easily access analytics of their vegetative biomass image to scout their fields from space via their mobile device to variable apply chemicals and fertilizer to the field in the most efficient method based on vegetative productivity. Satshot receives satellite imagery data directly from multiple satellites at multiple resolutions worldwide.
