Raised in West Texas as a Cattle rancher, I left for the Marine Corps at the ripe old age of 17. I served as an Infantry Marine for 8 years and was medically retired in November of 2012. Following the military, I spent time as a gunsmith and firefighter eventually finding my way to natural resources. I attended Colorado State University earning my bachelor’s in forestry management and a Masters in Natural Resources Management. I started flying during my tenure in the military and have continued to work with various UAS platforms throughout my career. I am now working as the UAV Chief Pilot for Nutrien Ag Solutions while running a private application business.
