Dr. Bruce Erickson

Agronomy Education Distance & Outreach Director, Purdue University

While serving in his current role, Erickson developed the Agronomy e-Learning Academy, which has served more than 1,400 students worldwide.  He leads development and analysis of the long-running CropLife magazine/Purdue Precision Dealer Survey. He started his career as an agronomist with Pioneer Hi-Bred (Corteva), served as Senior Technical Designer at Agri Business Group in Indianapolis, and helped manage Purdue’s Site-Specific Management Center and Top Farmer Crop Workshop. He also served as Agronomy Education Manager for the American Society of Agronomy (ASA).  Erickson received the 2018 Educator/Researcher Award of Excellence from the PrecisionAg Alliance. He is also the agricultural education lead for the Wabash Heartland Innovation Network (WHIN).
