Ben Gleason
Executive Director, Iowa Nutrient Research & Education Council (INREC) and Environmental Director, Agribusiness Association of Iowa (AAI)
Ben Gleason is the Executive Director for the Iowa Nutrient Research & Education Council (INREC) as well as the lead person on staff for the Agribusiness Association of Iowa regarding environmental and agronomic issues. INREC’s purpose is to be a credible, unified voice for measurements and data todemonstrate progress for the Iowa Nutrient Reduction Strategy. Previously, he worked for over ten years with the Iowa Corn Growers Association as Senior Manager of Sustainable Programs. Ben resides in Ankeny, Iowa and has a degree in Ecology from Iowa State University. He grew up in Charles City, Iowa near his family’s farm on the Little Cedar River.
