Keith Martus

Vice President of Agronomy, Star of the West

Keith Martus is the Vice President of Agronomy for Star of the West Milling Co. located in Frankenmuth, MI. Keith has worked in retail agronomy his entire career of 38 years. In addition, Keith was born and raised on a family owned crop & dairy farm in Michigan.

Keith obtained his agri business management & marketing degree from Western Michigan University in 1998. Keith has served as President, Executive Committee member and board member for the Michigan Agri Business Association. He has also been a Certified Crop Advisor for more than 30 years.

Keith enjoys the challenges of today’s grower and working in a diverse crop area of soft white winter wheat, sugar beets, corn, soybeans, dry edible beans, alfalfa, cucumbers & potatoes.

Keith attempts to stay active and engaged with ideas in agriculture with an emphasis in technology. Technology has really changed the agriculture field in the last 30+ years and will continue to change more drastically in the future.
