Heather Hampton+Knodle began working to improve broadband to rural America more than 20 years ago by cooperating with other civic and business leaders to be the founding chairman of a countywide Economic Development Corporation.  Since then she’s led efforts for first-of-a-kind distance learning and state broadband deployment as well as fiber-to-the-premises buildouts. She was appointed to the FCC Precision Agriculture Task Force and chaired working groups on Accelerating Broadband Deployment and Anticipating Connectivity Demand. She serves on advisory boards for AIFARMS and the Ag Autonomy Institute as well as participating in the development of AgAnswers, a personalized AI farm assistant and the AgriData Cooperative. She and her three sons farm corn, soybeans, winter wheat, and have black Angus cattle.
