Steve Pitstick is an innovative corn and soybean grower in Northern Illinois. Combining a passion for agronomics, business, and technology, Steve along with his son work to bring new methods to their 5,000-acre row-crop farm.

As an early adopter of technology, Steve has a long track record of utilizing the latest and most innovative equipment and science available. He has shared his knowledge and collaborative approach with 640 Labs, Trace Genomics, Aker, Mavrx, FieldView, Google X, Cultivian Sandbox, and Microsoft Farm Beats.

Steve serves as Chairman of the Illinois Soybean Association and has served as President of the Illinois Ag Leadership Alumni Board, having completed the extensive program in 2000. He has traveled to Germany, Egypt, and India to learn of agriculture opportunities abroad. Steve’s goal is to continually seek improvements in more granular data collection, modeling systems, and precision equipment.

With the future of his family farm and the ag industry top of mind, Steve has a strong desire to be part of breakthrough systems in production Ag that move the industry forward. He currently lives in Maple Park, IL, and is the father of three and grandfather of six.
